Artz Park; Oxford, Ohio | Fall, 2019 (second year) | Academic Project
Artz Park is a transit hub designed to connect train, vehicle, bicycle, and foot traffic in Oxford, Ohio.
The concept for the project is based on the passing of time as one travels; the hourglass parti in plan funnels travelers while creating various opportunities for seating and interaction with others and with the elements of the site.

The site revolves around the central hourglass parti, creating a basis for the structure of the platforms and shelters, while small follies or vignettes are built into the larger site to provide seating and interaction with the entire site.  Almost all existing trees remain on the site while additional ones create new spaces and shelter within.
