Hello!
My name is Julia and I am a current M. Arch student at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.  My passion for exploring community health with an emphasis on urban renewal originated from my early volunteer experiences in urban neighborhoods in my hometown, Milwaukee, WI, where I saw the direct impact that architecture and urban infrastructure have on community wellbeing.  I am excited to continue learning about and exploring sustainable development and ecology, urban design, and socially responsible architecture.
Prior to my time at the University of Michigan, I spent time working in both Cleveland, Ohio, Barcelona, Spain, and Kigali, Rwanda, after graduating from Miami University in May, 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and minors in Spanish and Global Perspectives on Sustainability.
